Dear Sister, you are chosen. Not chosen by me, chosen by Him.

Adoption in Latin: choosing.
Don’t we all just deeply desire to be chosen, to be desired, to be picked out of a crowd?
To be adopted is to be chosen Every. Single. Day. No matter what, no matter the trauma or pain, no matter the response or lack there of ... you are chosen and there is nothing you can do or say. You as the child only see minimally. For us as parents, it has nothing to do with our children responding to the love, we just love... we love so much it hurts... can you imagine a perfect love, from a perfect Father?
Imagine if we lived in a way of believing that the God of the universe has chosen us, every single day, no matter what? He signed on the dotted line with His own blood and swore to Fatherhood!
If we only lived in a way that freed us up from believing that we still needed to prove ourselves. If we only believed the eternal grace. If we could just see the way He looks at us...
We would stop looking to be chosen by others. We would stop searching for the temporary. We would stop pretending and we would start living in our new name!
